Someone posted on the Yahoo thread the correct analysis, which is there should be no effect, because these are part of the float, freely trading and part of the market cap. When they are exercised, it removes them from the float and converts over to common. LPTHA gets cash and an improved balance sheet.

LPTHW/LPTHA: Fred, no, there do not seem to be that many shares to convert, conversion will occur over a months time and momentum continues to increase. . . so I see no near-term effects of common from this dilution. And frankly, I prefer companies coming to shareholders to raise money than cutting some bogus offshore deal like so many of them do.
