heniz, speaking of rising rate environment, why is the long bond yield going down as the equity markets are going up? It is not as if we got great economic data today.

< The chip stocks are a special case within technology as they are cyclical commodity co's rather than tech co's. They traditionally perform well in global economic up cycles and rising rate environments.>

This semi-equipment company, KLIC, broke out big time this past week on very heavy volume, hitting new highs. The company came out with an upside earnings preannouncement of 30% on Tuesday and basically said that business has never been better and they have no capacity constraints in contrast to their competitors. The valuation here is reasonable. The balance sheet is very strong. I bought into it during the tech massacre on Tuesday. If you do your due diligence here, you will find a diamond in the rough.
