Phil, on some of the bottles I've gotten recently, you could send in the proof of purchase and reserve your very own square foot of peat bog :-) I've collected a bunch of these certificates already!

I plan on going to the distillery in June and I'll haul back some more cask strenght. I tend to go for the 10 year old. The 15 year old is more suited for little old ladies :-) There're older varieties, but they're not always that good.

By the way, if you haven't already tried it, try get a hold of a young bottle of Caol Ila. About 10 years or so. It's delicious and in some ways superior to Laphroaig. Although it is such a close call that I expect to need several more years of carefully conducted trials to render a final verdict..... :-)
