JDN, not trying to pick on you, but you happened to be the last poster before me here when I started this post. Here's an opinion on SUNW I just heard on CNBC Power Lunch, or Stock Picking Friday, one of those. Caller-in asked why SUNW was not challenging their highs yet. The guy said (I think one of these but not sure: Today's fund managers were Tom Kolefas, portfolio manager of Loomis Sayles and Frank Reichel, portfolio manager for Stratton Small-Cap Yield Fund.) he'd bought it for his fund in the past, got a big runup, sold it, then it doubled again. However, he said, now, Sun's big competitors in the server biz, Compaq, IBM and HP are all going after them, specifically in the area of big servers. He also said Intel is coming out with very powerful chips that will address Sun's highest server market (IA-64 of course this year, Xeon at mid range now). He concluded by saying that Sun is a dangerous stock to hold now. I don't believe it, someone actually went public with what I've been saying for quite a while. Again, I don't mean to send this at you, JDN, but this fund guy's opinion about Sun has to start proliferating, IMO, and I think it will put a damper on Sun stock. Disclaimer: big BWDIK. Tony
