Couple things I found interesting to note today :

1) Mention of Cisco benefitting in the DWDM market share loss of Lucent. Pleaasse. Cisco has barely figured out anything with Pirelli and they are not even any sort of leaders in that field.

2) Looks like NT ONLY makes optical and their phone equipment division has no risks to justify 75 times next years EPS.

I gues momentum rules the day along with "What will you do for me in the next 3 months to show in my fund prospectus" attitude reigns supreme.

Seen similar situations in the last 4 years to know that LU will be double 12 months from now. So the question is whether you go with NT and CSCO who are at 75-100 PE and possibly have an upside of 30-35% at best over the course of the year along with the risk of a slaughter if their growth rates is slower by a teenie weenie bit? OR you go with a blown up candidate like LU whose situation is similar to that of IBM, INTC, ORCL, AOL, DELL etc. not too far ago.

Hmmmmm.....
