But clearly Gateway shares the responsibility. They are the dumbsh*ts who went into sole source with inadequate orders etc into Q4.

And I am sure Dell got priority over Gateway when push came to shove and Gateway is pissed.


Kash, I don't disagree with you....but there is a difference in perception. GTW can be accused of being naive but Intel is guilty of failing to perform. Typically in business the later is considered the more serious crime. And I think that was confirmed yesterday by the price movement of the two companies's stocks....GTW's was up and Intel's was down significantly.

Having said all that, that's not my beef in this situation. It seems on this thread whenever an AMD long makes a statement, the burden of proof is on him/her to prove it correct, and whenever an Intel long makes a statement, the burden of proof is on the AMD long to prove the Intel long wrong. I am tired of the double standard, that's all.
