Steve, Definitely. As I said in the article, I can't believe that Compaq has made a comeback. Their boxes are getting to be nearly as low quality as Acer's and they may have already passed Gateway in the Crapola Derby for second to last. I was never happy with my Compaq and even more unhappy with "service" the firm provided.

$27 is not my favorite place for buying puts, but, as I did with MUEI, I plan to make an exception of CPQ. The co. is a POS and I don't see how they are doing anything to turn it around. They are now paying the price for all of Der Fuhrer's accounting scams and it is tough to get even carrying all the baggage he left behind.

However, CPQ has one way to get back on stream. If they can improve quality tremendously and then cut prices by 30% or more, they could be back in the game. My guess is nobody there currently has that kind of courage.
