Because it didn't rely on one vendor....the two boxmakers complaining are Dell and GTW.

it's just killing you guys that Intel was fair all the way around.

Putting aside the question about Intel was fair or not, this is what I feel about Intel based on its execution problems it has been having lately - fast disappearing stealth launches, product delays, quickly evaporating RAS, owner of vapor products, unreliable supplier, undependable as a sole supplier, etc., Don't get me wrong here - irrespective of all these recent problems, Intel is a great company and will do very well. Now, what do you think was the catalyst behind the fast deterioration of Intel's once pristine image? My simple answer to this question is "Athlon"!
