I thought that the idea of a portable disc drive device was screwy and even checked out Creative Labs press releases to make sure it had a hard drive. But it must because its too big for flash memory, and I think flash memory now maxes out around 256 megs.

I'm still waiting on my Rio 500. I think the technology is proving daunting.

The Sony flash memory MP3 device scheduled for the spring is also more expensive than the Rio 500.
