Bob, Micron is a low profit margin company, though it does sell a lot of volume. If you bought it now or later (less than $ 80, hopefully!) - get out in a two years or when it clears $ 150, whichever is sooner! I don't own it. Micron became famous a few months ago, due to Jeff Vinik, the ex-Fidelity Magellan fund manager (this year even my portfolio beat Magellan by a good margin! They are too big!) who was touting it as a "buy" when he was unloading it. That was one of the reasons for his exit from Fidelity, I am told!

Regarding LU - I would buy it now, since it has become attractive again. It should go to $ 90+ by the end of 2001! Sort of like what Buffet says, when everyone is selling - that is when you load up - makes sense eh?
