Barry, re: Tanaka

Heard the same interview. Funny when he said Intel was too conservative to "tout" itself, that other companies are selling themselves, and Intel is just the opposite, he could/should have been talking to Mary on this thread.

We need this guy as a daily guest on CNBC, or maybe Intel should hire him AS their PR department. Twas cool.

John

EDIT - BTW, INTC is down 5/16 for the year, not bad considering what the market has done to us this week.

Barry, Re SUNW: Yesterday at 30 min before the close I asked my wife what she wanted to buy as things looked really oversold.
Her choices: either SUNW or ORCL (she's been aggravated I didn't buy either long ago). I chose ORCL and bought at
96-97. I gave her your reasons for not wanting SUNW now and she liked that story. Whew!

Looks like you wouldn't have gone wrong either way, so far. I hope your wife doesn't find a need down the road to want to kill me. :-\ My Sun theory is probably still early, but then, the street does anticipate, what, 6 months, or something? A good thing about Oracle is that they seem to have a space all to themselves right now.
