Greater Fool,

Re:"Nothing wrong with Athlon. I'd buy one myself if I had any use for its speed.

The fact that I don't have any use for its speed is what is making me doubt the future of the entire microprocessor industry.."

I am curious what kind of automobile you and your family drive.

Oh, and what is the square footage of your house.

For full disclosure:

I drive a 2000 CLK 320 Cabriolet and my wife drives a 99 Toyota Landcruiser. And I live in a 3600 sq foot house.

regards,

Kash J.

I think you should change your name to Complete Fool .

Why don't you tell us about the 3 or 4 companies that exited the x86 CPU business in the past 12 months BECAUSE their PROCESSORS were TOO SLOW.
