I'm amazed at what people are willing to pay for the Sun workstations on E-bay. Right now there's an Ultra 5 that says in the description that its list price is $2645. The current bid is $2325, and there are over 2 days left before the auction ends. cgi.ebay.com If I were going to pay that close to list, I'd configure one just the way I want it rather than taking a preconfigured machine. I'd also trade in an old IPC or something and get a few bucks off, and use the monitor I have. Maybe Sun is pricing these things too low? But that's JMHO.
