QS - re: Do you know what it's like to get sneered at by a parking valet? Whereas here in Texas, arriving at a posh restaurant in a '53 ford pickup with no muffler and the paint weathered down to the primer will get you a high five and "Hey, buddy, nace Truuck!!"

Dear QS: Your story about your GEO reminded me of one. I swear this is absolutely true. A friend of mines daughter, who is about 5'10" tall was introduced to a very wealthy man who stood about 5'6" (sort of the way I picture twister) in his shoes. Of course, this girls mother was delighted but to her chagrin her daughter said, "But MOM, he is TOO short" to which the mother replied, "Honey, when he stands on his money, he's 6' tall" haha.
