LEAP and the net will appear.

Picked up some jan2001 62-1/2s for 46-1/2 (yesterday), purdy near in the money with a year to go! Sweet. Now if only I had Monday back to unload some jan2000 35s. Have you any experience trading leaps, like will they sell this close to expiration?
I'd rather sell 'em (long term hold) than buy the stock which would put me back on a short term basis. The leap was a close to 5 to 1 play, the stock was less than 3 to 1 over the same period (Dec98-Jan00 span). Besides putting up the money to buy the stock puts me back to a less than 3 to 1.

Hoping for a similar play on the 2001s.

I heard that Uncle Sam doesn't pay much attention to option trading, can anyone elaborate?

Thanks in advance!
