so my risky/high return play of the year (so far) was to buy a handful of August 65 calls. Better watch that crack, uf LOL I've got some May 60's and August 85's myself. Hope to roll them to further out months, or better yet exercise them for common with the next earnings runup. As we have discusses, however, we may have to wait until the second half of the year for the TVGIA merger to be clarified and announced. I'm ambivalent on that merger, seems to me that if the merger does not go through, gemstar still makes out on profit sharing with TVGIA. If the merger does go, they become a full blown gorilla, but they also have to deliver paper to customers, which has high overhead.

re fought my evil twin Margin is tricky for options (except Q leaps) because they hurt one's marginability. Also usually options are fairly short term plays (or may turn our to be) so are better in the IRA anyway....where I am not allowed to margin. Believe it or not I still have cash there!!!!! I think I'll do some Gmst options next week, if its at all weak. OT Missed those csco options today, kept chasing them: I am a little afraid of buying options with a market order so I kept putting the limit at the ask but didnt get them. But my experience tells me we will have at least one or two more corrections and chances for me to buy them. VVVVBG Freeus
