Mani> Mani, I am reposting this per your suggestion as well as to express my surprise at the reaction Greater Fool is getting from this thread. With the notable exception of some high profile posters this thread has been pretty nice to people. Whether someone agrees with the guy is probably not justification enough for what is going on. Not pontificating. Just my 2 cents. Chuck

That's a quite gracious reply. Thanks! I have no issue with disagreements, and find I learn a lot from vigorous discussion. I too stand by my conviction that the future will be less extreme than everyone seems to think it will be -- microprocessors will be less profitable for Intel, AMD won't go belly up, flash won't continue being the gold mine it now is -- because situations like this naturally tend to normalize.
