EMily, not only did I not see KK, there were no concerts at all! I was disappointed. But I did go to the Musical Instrument Museum at the concert hall. It was across the street from the Hyatt where I stayed awhile. The trip was great. I bought the greatest leather jacker (Black, of course) I have ever seen. And for a song! Turns out that Berlin is the black leather jacker capital of the world! Anyway, a grat trip. The seminar with Bernhard Schlink went extremely well. Great students. great week. I go back to Berlin the first week of May. The larkets were awful, werent they? But now that it is over, I can say that it is healthy and we appear to be going higher. I know the bears will tell you it was only short-covering, but I know a few bears who covered yesterday. This was real buying. So, hang in there. ONce we get past this pre-announcement stuff, we're ok. Have you ever played and Gubaidulina?
