edamo,
as one of the option pros on board, maybe you could enlighten me a bit on todays play. I'm doing this from memory but the point should come across.
I wanted 10 contracts of QCOM Jan 01 160's. Real time thru accutrade showed B/A something 39 1/2 / 42. I put in limit 42 1/2. After about 45 minutes from the open no execution. I called my broker and they told me, quite nicely, QCOM was traded on 4 exchanges. They read me all kinds of different prices and finally I said move it to 45, which was a bit below the best ask. Got it but was high till about 2PM. Then Q headed north.
Is this what I should learn to expect? Trades seem awfully slow in the AM. May seem like a detail but I try very hard to time my entry.

Thanks to all,

Tony
