I wish we could actually get some reps in here to explain their products. I know SI isn't for commercial use, but together we could ask all the right questions. Who would have the glands to go up against this crowd though?

I'm going on-line with M/L very soon but you can't trade options yet, waiting for software roll-out. I am very pleased so far with the "unlimited advantage" program which costs 1% of portfolio value annually. Was thinking of E-Trade for trading options. Does anyone have E-Trade??

Cooters,

Been using NDB for several years, and very happy.
Pop up window confirms trades, statement easy to
read and immediate executions. $14.95 on Market,
$19.95 on limit. Sorry, dont think they have a good
options program, but Im buy and hold anyway.

FWIW,

MU

yes - i use a full service broker and demand big discounts - and i get them - all brokers will do that for good customers - get great service too - like being at the Ritz Carlton versus Holiday Inn - i get excellent executions and problem resolution is very easy - FWIW, i think others on this thread have said they use full-service broker-dealers

Good site for OLB reviews: sonic.net

Datek has improved lately re: access at peak trading hours, but streamer is very unstable and constantly logs you off. No option trading yet, promised by early summer, will belive it when I see it.

There seem to be very few glowing reviews....

Cooters...I personally hated Waterhouse, slow, imcompetent phone support staff, and too many arbitrary margin rules. I'm very happy with Powerstreet at Fidelity. And I accessed Powerstreet with Netscape, but after speaking to technical and downloading IE, I found I had a much better time of it. Fixed all the kinks. PoetTrader (not to be confused with Poet)
