Rob, Great to have you on board! Now, can anyone tell what the heck is going on with DLSC? They're up 4 1/8 this week. I can't find any recent news and their website doesn't give any indication why they keep going up and up. What gives? Rick

Rob, No January.......loads of March, June....and can't wait for the Septembers. May pick up a few February.....Just for fun. I really like the idea that IDX is now working with Miller Shandwick. I think it triples IDX's exposure. I think the time to be fully invested, assuming there is no news prior....is by earnings day. Past experience tells us that IDX may get hit on the open.....but often ends the session higher....and that is assuming that IDX does not do something odd....like beat the estimates. <g> I assume that Live-scan and Government Services will drag down the overall numbers for the quarter (Y2K).....and that IDX will report the loss of 13 cents for the quarter....perhaps even worse. But the conference call will be about BioLogon sales.....scanner sales.....and what the next 2 quarters will bring.....with Motorola, Compaq....and perhaps the progress on naming a new CEO....and where they might be looking for one. We are looking for huge percentage increases in the Bio-ID numbers in the March and June quarters......and of course a bunch of other stuff. (see the Commission list) And of course you will also have a lot of tech money looking for a good story. Septembers will be sweet plays...even the 12.5s and 15s.......and I think the March calls will do well also.....New CEO, changes, anticipation of a strong quarter in Live-scan and Bio-ID. Hard to say, Rob.....but the Boys do say that $9.00 is looking like a darned good base right here...while $7 and $8 are history....And the day the Ascom shares get placed......it is several points up......depending upon who picks them up. Work has begun on getting them placed.....I'm fairly sure of that. And of course we are very up-beat about the things Motorola has been saying....and doing. Commission members have added perhaps 25k of common over the last few weeks....I know that....and perhaps another 300k of call shares. I don't believe there has been a time when we have had a larger position.......and that includes the the Comdex run.....and the IDT close run last May......I think more members are involved this time.....the Boys in the Montana Cabin are getting a reputation for making money. I know after reading this informative post....you will want to be the first one to send in your dues......right? <g> Best of luck to all IDX longs. bg
