Well, Jan could confirm, but I am pretty well convinced that it was the front for this particular surgery. For some of the operations they just installed a zipper on her back, so it doesn't really count as surgery anymore.

Carolyn,

Good luck with your knee, but I think I'll pass on watching the video, though. <gg>

Arnowife had to have a couple of vertebrae fused in her neck and they went through the front. It doesn't sound quite right to say 'slit her throat', but that is what they did.

I guess all the nerves run on the back side of the spine and it was much safer for her to go through the front. No problems.
