Alexander, I am puzzled. Aren't you the one who has recently taken to playing variations on the general theme of:

JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED!

Perhaps you meant that we should beware only of judging the moral qualities of others, in which case it would be okay to judge their mental capacity.

Dunno about that. I personally just might prefer being called a crook to being called a fool.

Alexander, I haven't been brainwashed by anybody. Of all the tax related arguments I have had here with Michael M, etc. if you read closely you will see that I am the most generous with the amount of taxes I am willing to pay.

My problem is I think the schools or poor people in general and mentally ill, plus unfortunate children are better recipients for the $ I pay. If you can present a case for why the elderly are more deserving than the poor or mentally ill then by all means do so. The elderly are the wealthiest of the demographic groups in general - research supports this.
