Hi Bosco, Happy New Year! On Etrade, which uses Instinet, you can only issue Buy, Sell or Buy to cover orders at limit, in multiple of hundreds.. You can not sell short. On Schwab, which uses REDibook, you can: " Order Types ? Only limit orders and short sell limit orders - not market orders - are accepted after hours. The maximum order size is 5,000 shares. All orders must be entered in round lots (increments of 100 shares); odd and mixed lot orders are not currently accepted during the after hours session. " Best rgds, Steve
