T, LU and CDMA. Saturday morning musings:

Yesterday AT&T comes out and says their wireless unit sucks money like a vampire sucks blood. This happens the same day that Mr. Market gives Lucent a swift knee to the groin. Speculation arises that maybe customers are abandoning Lucent in favor of Nortel because LU can't deliver.

How about this scenario: Big daddy T comes staggering over to LU with a wheelbarrow full of orders for CDMA infrastructure (HDR variety) funded by their newly-found wealth from their wireless IPO. LU jumps up from the ground and together they gain back their respect and profits.

The value chain solidifies and everyone is happy.
