Brian, Have been through all that personally and am going through that with AOL now. Yes indeed CMGI did not move and AOL did then. Now AOL is sitting tight and CMGI is moving. Well it will be CMRC's chance next and also AOL, let us hope.

Agree,
The liquidity in the market is enormous and will make absorption time of insider shares a mere blip during the time horizon that one will gain substantially while holding an open position. Proof of this occurred this week, as bargain hunters came back in after a 10% correction in nasdaq. What's amazing is that it all transpired in 1 week. VERT by the way is one example of a lockup exp in ~6/99 (confirm date) that rewarded substantially if you bought shares from insiders selling them. It took VERT a month to recover and then it got hit with summer doldrums which presented another buy opp.

Currently, since investors thirst for B2B is greater than it was six mo ago, and since we are in the midst of earnings and expansion of CMRC market share, and since the market has factored in a rate hike and understands that money wants to stay in this market despite rising rates, this week may have been a small window of entry. Started an open position 1/7 at ~186 from which I will add further.

Also, noticed that ARBA and ICGE made internet analyst lists last week which helped them along Fri. Reason for this is that they have established long positions. CMRC on the other hand is still being accumulated and short positions still remain (would love to know current short interest). The short play is over as we get closer to earnings, and mine fields abound for shorts as the positive PR surrounding this stock will be relentless. I guess the most conservative way to play is to wait for breakout on good volume, or at least fractionate ones entry.
