Jay,

the "entrenched longs" are silent because the mindless chatter with which short-term traders with no clue about this company fill the boards at times like these is simply not worth wading through. To the extent that there indeed is substantial news, you'll find us analysing and discussing it, here and elsewhere.

Signs of capitulation? Hardly - we've all been through this before, several times. Traders are typically unaware that after all the past shakeouts, a large proportion of shares (IMO easily in excess of 5M) is in very strong retail investor hands who aren't going to be spooked by a mere 50% drop anymore. Entrenched, indeed!

Jay, thanks for the 10Q facet. Then we know what Ancor will say on Monday, don't we?

How about something like a change in accounting procedures means they won't be booking until Sun ships, if ever, instead of when they ship to Sun.

Sun needs to reiterate that they are progressing in the integration of fabric switching into their fibre channel storage offerings to reassure their customers that what they are clamoring for will be forthcoming, or not. Or face losing them to others in the interim.

Frankly, I'm relieved to see the MO-MOs both long and short jumping ship, too much impatient upward pressure too soon. 2000 looks better already.
