It isn't that you have to have credentials to participate. If I am going to consider anything you say as really meaningful I would like to also be able to consider your qualifications to put forth that opinion. Also, when a person states a belief with the qualifier that it is just an opinion that is far more respected than one who presents their ideas or positions as an absolute fact. Further, when they denigrate other opposing opinions as uninformed and/or ignorant I become very interested in what makes them more informed and knowledgeable with superior judgement and intellect.

Your statements had seemed to fit the profile of one held out as a self proclaimed expert. That is the reason for my questions to back up your belief.

Frank

Wow, lots of excitement today on this board. But I think both bears and bulls are correct (and wrong), relative to time. Also some Bull posts could be made by a bear, and vice versa to influence a balance when necessary. Generally though, one can get a sentiment reading on posts on this board, and I honestly made good investment decisions on my interpretation ot it.

My take is investment in stocks is kind of a World Series in one lifetime. What skills we learned from grade school to present (from books to life in the street), you need to apply it here. If you do your homework, and learn from your mistakes, then you or your team will like win your own World Series. And that's the bottom line.

JMHO on this nice Sat morning.

bubbarayjr -- re: credentials. Thank goodness we have you to establish what the low end of the credential range might be. But happily for you, you don't need no stinkin' credentials to post here. Good luck with your dead-cat strategy. P.S. - You seem proud of your ignorance. Sad.
