FGH signals..Appears to me,,it could simply be a one day wonder .Chart is now over extended and would be a risky buy here IMO.Look at how it was knocked down from this level in early Dec.If the OSX weakens(and I think it has made it's run),I would expect FGH to get whacked just as hard,if not more due to the flash move.Certainly there is no technical support for the move .Nope sorry, looks like a sucker buy here,IMHO,I would expect it to test 7.25 in short order, going back to the trading range, which is where it still is..DD

Need some confirmation of the move,,not sure I would consider RSI confiming it

Sarge, I saw FGH started to move last Friday. From the charts and your post I see that you are expecting follow through. Do you think we have much chance of retesting some of the lows say 6 1/2 again? I would like to buy more shares next week but if you think we could retest lows, then I don't want to jump in to soon.

With the Rapid run-up (percentage), it appears the tax benefit(?) is losing its luster

O/T - CpsOmis: "There, I feel Sooooo much better now. (And yep, I followed my miserable 450 shares from 14 1/2 all the way down to the hole they are in now, NOT taking Slider's #$%&$## advice, but yours instead."

Comment: Had you followed the prudent advice from a Value Investor, YOU might have ACCUMULATED FGH shares by allocating your $6525.00 (14 « * 450 shares) as follows:
Buy 100 shares @ 14 « ($1450. You obviously paid too much and bought TOO MANY shares initially), another 100 @ 9 « ($950. - the price was getting better), THEN RECOGNIZING that FGH would be HARD HIT by tax selling; SELL the 200 shares in late November @ 8 « (net $1700) resulting in a taxable loss of $700. You would then had $5825.00 remaining of your INITIAL investment funds (PLUS the tax benefit) to BUY BACK in a more diliberative manner: 100 shares in early Dec @ 7 ($700.), another 100 shares @ 6 « ($650.) before Christmas and tripled your bet after Xmas by buying 300 shares @ 6 ó ($2025). Had you followed such a prudent plan you would NOW have 500 shares (cost: $3375.) with the following results:
From your INITIAL investment of $6125. YOU would now have $2450. in CASH, a $700. Tax deduction, and 500 FGH shares now worth $4406.25 (500 shares * 8 13/16) WHICH would have put you ahead of the class instead of wearing a dunce cap. NOT ONLY WOULD THE LATTER COURSE OF ACTION BEEN PRUDENT, IT WAS A PREDICTABLE EXPECTATION. Their were several WARNINGS posted on this message board PRIOR to the tax sell off. Don't TRY to blame me because YOU CHOSE to ignore them. (You have my empathy and sympathy for finding yourself in this predicament.) quote.yahoo.com

O/T - Jim L: "I will get back into FGH again, but I wouldn't mind waiting for a pullback first, even if it runs to 9 or 10 first."

Comment: A QUICK RUN from Friday's close @8 13/16 to 10 would ONLY represent a paltry 14.6% GAIN. Nobody but a NUT case would settle for such a minimal PROFIT. >g<

Jim L: "I'm not commenting on the fundamentals here as they really don't matter short term."

Translation - All I know about FGH fundamentals IS what I learned from Sarge and they don't matter anyway. >gg<

O/T Ditchdigger: >> FGH signals..Appears to me,,it could simply be a one day wonder <<

Response: Does this look like a one day wonder? charts2.barchart.com
This is the remaining SHORT TERM indicator signalling Sell. This will turn to HOLD or BUY within 10 days, more likely THIS WEEK. COUNT ON IT! Intermediate and Long Term indicators will CONTINUE to change to HOLD and then BUY as time elapses. Count on that also. THIS is the message ALL the critics can point to in the HIGHLY unlikely event than I am wrong. IF I am WRONG on this, I WILL QUIT posting on Strictly Drilling. AND, I am a man of my WORD!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
