That being the case, 10-20% daily swings, or even $10-20 swings from day to day, will ONLY bring out MORE people to try daytrading.

Which will cause even more volatility?

seems like a vicious cycle, especially when the downward direction takes hold.

John, have you or anyone else looked into this post from YAHOO? You need Adobe Acrobat to open Sun's PDF FILE. In the presentation it does show D-RDRAM as being used. Just how significant is this?

Must read: PC magazine on SUN's MAJC

zdnet.com
It says:"The MAJC chip (pronounced "magic" and standing for Microprocessor Architecture for Java Computing), is being
promoted as "the most important semiconductor architecture of the next 20 years." Sun says the chip is particularly well
suited to handling the enormous streams of visual and audio data we all expect to experience on the Internet.
REITERATE HERE: SUN'S MAJC IS USING D-RDRAM!!
RAMBUS IS EVERYWHERE, EVEN JAVA COMPUTING!!
You may check the following site for MAJC structure.
