Amein....Thanks for taking the time to post!

I prefer to own outright the shares of CMGI.

I owned SEBL when it started it's latest big run and had to exercise discipline everyday because it was going up and I wanted to take my profits because it was running faster than I thought it should....finally, I thought it could run no more, and I sold just out-of-the-money covered calls for a nice premium, figuring that if the stock dropped, the calls would expire and I would have the premium money to lower my cost basis....if the stock went up, I was willing to let it go at the higher price plus the premium....the next day they announced a stock split and the stock rocketed over the next several weeks another 40 points....naturally the stock got called away, and I'm crying about only making a net 47% in two months!....the point is, I'm still not sure that I really wanted to be out of the stock, although at the time I thought I was really being clever....and to some extent, I was.

I'll look at selling puts....I want to read McMillan on that, I understand he puts(no pun intended) it pretty clearly.

I have read a number of your posts over time and I always think you have something worthwhile to say and am glad to be a part of it.
