I get the warning anyway about "I must advise you that if the problem is in your equipment we will need to bill you...", for each number that I report, and they refuse to give me a blanket trouble ticket number for all at once. Oi

Frank, I can't tell you how much it warms my heart to know that even you have this kind of trouble and frustration with the local phone company. Sometime when you have an extra hour or two I'll tell you my story in trying to do something simple like move my business four blocks and not have an interruption in phone service. (It ends well, as in the old Monopoly card that read, "Bank makes error in your favor collect $200" -a small concession for taking up a large portion of my life)
