I didn't get any professional gudance in this decision. The MSH had a two-leg extended rally from the October, 1998, low, and valuations if the mainstream technology leadership like Sun, Cisco and others are richer than I can remember. Then 1) I saw Amazon, AOL and some tier-two names weakening during the latter part of December and unable to rally above their short-term moving averages; 2) Monday morning looked like a blowoff; and 3) the long-bond yield spiked above 6.5%, which has been the consensus upside limit.
