WR appears to be not only humorless, but jealous as well. He doesn't seem to be having much fun.

He insults you on the XSNI "Glad to see the idiot Dale on the thread once again," then spends the rest of the post agreeing with you--namely that traders should be very nimble with low cost, volatile stocks and not get stuck on which point to exit with profits. Heck! That's the trading philosophy he espouses in his profile, and it's what you said re. XSNI. He should have been thanking you instead of coming off as a jerk (Oops. Did I just get personal? Although I didn't say he WAS a jerk, just that he was acting like one.)

Could it be he's really worried that someone else might jump off a runner before he does? In fact, I have noticed that some of the most pompous holier-than-thou's (Newt Gingrich comes to mind) are the worst violators of the principles about which they incessantly lecture.

A personal example of being nimble. ELON looks like a very good co., was in the news last week, and made a nice run. The initial rise was pretty easy to hop onto. I thought I saw some new life yesterday so went in again. I would have loved another 3 point gain on a bunch of shares, and it's fun to mentally add the winnings to my account. But the little run I had hopped onto started to die and didn't "feel" right so I bailed w/ about a 1/2 point--and happy for it. Good thing cause I would have lost a chunk of my previous day's gains as the stock continued to drop off. Yeah, it might go right back on up. But I'll take the gain while keeping an eye on it.

One of your faithful, sycophantic minions <gg>,
Jim

PS. "market and my minions"--I like it.

Hey Threaders,

Happy New Year! This thread sure got popular over the holidays. Was away and astounded to see the number of posts...didn't even try to catch up and read 'em all.

DB...from your portfolio update I saw you dumped ASDS. How come? I picked a little myself on Friday. Anybody else have a opinion on this one.

Has anybody been playing OSX? Stocks have moved nicely the past couple of weeks. Thinking of selling in here, particularly if the Techs regain momentum on Monday? Any thoughts? Bernie?

see ya,

-Minos
