Bob, interesting points about what might affect DRAM pricing this year. I don't keep up with DRAM much except as to how it might blindside one of the companies I have stock in. Even then, I'm mostly buy and hold, so DRAM is a noop to me.

Re Windows 2000, most of what I've heard so far is that more memory (which is DRAM ofcourse), is recommended for it than was for NT. Also, another point kind of sneaked out of Microsoft and it is that a replacement for Win98 might/should be out later this year. In other words, 2000 isn't recommended as a replacement for both NT and 98, as we'd heard for quite a while. Both of these new Microsoft OSs should stimulate microprocessor, DRAM and PC sales, I think.
