OX, thanks very much for writing back.

Thanks for the 2 pointers.

I am shocked that you said "Ask away... many on this board are much more experience than I am." - I have been reading the thread for a short time, but if this is the case then I am WAY below the level I thought I was!

What are your main strategies?

I have Level 2 approval at the moment and have done quite a long calls & puts, equal amounts of CC's, and a much lesser number of spreads. On the spreads I usually buy a DIM call as a stock replacement and sell a higher priced next month call. I do not usually do puts. In addition, I have written a program which allows me to analyze spreads and CC's from a P/L angle at various unwind $.

One thing you said intrigues me - that being the options toolbox - I have looked at it, but am baffled by what to do with all of it... Does this knowledge come from reading the McMillan book?

Another thing I have seen bantied about on various threads are delta's, volatility, "greeks", are these also things that I should read the book about then ask questions?

Thanks very kindly,
Jeff Smith
