Lola,

I think you might be too quick to write FIN off as a P&D. To me it sounds like they released the news and people who were reading it took note and started to watch the stock... hoping to jump in and grab some shares. They saw it wasn't even trading and waited... somebody finally just snatched the shares off the offer. People continued to wait, until once again someone who had read the news jumped in and grabbed some shares... the pattern continues until the price gets high enough that more selling comes in, but there is even more buying falling over itself to grab shares before the price climbs any higher.... I think it was just greed.... traders moved into a thinly traded stock and made it very volatile!
