Ah ... I get it ... 57 year old terminal middle managers sneak out into the night wearing old toolbelts whose unfortunate gaposis is now spanned by a length of nylon rope ... scuttling about in the darkness like drunken crabs they cross-wire your POTS and reel home sniggering with sublimated vengeance ... planning as they go their morning chortles when they listen in with their cronies to your trouble call. The obdurate empire is more evil than the evil empire itself, because it is relatively more immune to learning. Maybe you should call G*. At least when it breaks, you won't have the temptation to boost yourself into orbit to fix it. ;-)
