Martin,

<< how have these strategies and tactics changed >>

Geoff Moore describes better than I the necessity to change OST through the various stages of the technology adoption life cycle. Dr. J. took "Q" from user base Zero in early 1994 to a gorilla position in CDMA and 16% ww marketshare in wireless mobile telephony by early 1998 and 17% - 18 % today, with some tough & focused tactics, totally ignoring the global base of GSM that was expanding out of Europe.

<< and why do u think this is costing us (Q shareholders) $$$$? >>

No revenue out of Western Europe, little out of EU, Russia, China, Africa and 2nd fiddle to TDMA in LA. Leaving big $ on the table. Time to get beyond Korea & US with pockets of Asia & LA thrown in.

<< Is there something Dr. J should be doing that he is not? >>

IMO, focus efforts on alliances & cooperation with with ETSI & UWC. Increase thr Value Chain.

All this just my opinionated opinion of course.
