I might be a bit too cynical here, but I don't think management wants the stock price to get much higher for a while. The company can buy back 5% of its stock each year, and issue 5% of its stock in stock options to management. It is in management's best interest for the stock price (and therefor the option price) to be low.

O.K., maybe that unfair.

On the other hand, this management team seems to be in this for the long run. They are in no rush to sell their stock, so why should they care what the price is now?

For that matter, I'm in the same situation as management. I am holding this one long term. We'll see how it behaves over the next few years. I figure that if they keep buying up stock on the open market, they will eventually want mine. Then we'll talk. ;)
