Guree : I'm sure you can have a more exciting ride on your bed-of-nails than on the Dow. I find the Dow boring. Looking at the chart one can see the recent peak was 200 points above last August's top. So, by this argument, it is unlikely the downside will be more than last September's, if that much. I actually think it could be over already. quote.com In fact, if you look at a monthly chart there's no evidence of weakness, whatsoever. Accordingly, I expect the long-term uptrend to continue. Further, I see no pattern that would indicate a sell-off or even a consolidation. IMO the only reason for the recent weakness is that the "market" has gotten tired --- possibly anxious --- about the indices continually going up, especially with NAZ almost doubling in a year. After all, I don't believe there's one Internet stock that shows a profit --- except for those buying and selling shares. So, there had to be a "little" correction. And, now that we've had it everyone will feel much better and all the "experts" will agree that the prices are correctly valued. In fact, listening to them on CNBC I observe that most/all are already in buying mode. Therefore the party can continue.........
