David,

Whether or not any hardware provider licenses ESAF's product is that provider's decision. ESAF has award winning software that integrates seamlessly over multiple configurations. There is competition out there...but ESAF has advantages...and disadvantages...to all of them. I feel the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. That having been said, any hardware provider who wants to use any of those advantages can license ESAF's stuff.

As to whether IDX is going to license ESAF's stuff...I doubt it...due to their Biocrap. But that does not mean that IDX would not be smart to allow ESAF to sell IDX hardware and make money off of the algorithm license. That way...any sale ESAF makes...could be a sale for IDX also.

ESAF has shipped a small fraction of the application software that IDX has shipped? Last I heard, in the last report they had shipped 250K through Compaq...is that the number you are referring to? I know NRI shipped a bunch of SAFtLatch...something like 60K? Small fraction...I guess. But then again...the revenues for IDX seem to make these sales less of a slam dunk than you think... Afterall, they did get financing too...didn't they?

It is nice to see that you think ESAF's current runup is due to a "rumor misinterpretation" as opposed to cries of pump and dump...which I remember hearing in the past. I am not accusing here David...maybe it was not you who said that...but someone on the other threads did...

Then again...if ESAF is the non-factor you believe it to be, then don't worry about it. Neither company has done anything worth a second look by anyone, just yet... This is the year we are going to see how each company positioned themselves, because this is the year for biometrics. I am sure Randy positioned his company well...before he left. I am fairly certain ESAF is well positioned as well. One thing is for sure...the last laugh is coming up soon.

Regards,
Bob
