director, there was an interesting article in Business Week this week regarding Asia and the internet and i must tell you YHOO is quite strong there. it doesn't hurt that Yang is looked as a native and his presence is important.
they quote 30% market share in south Korea alone which and the numbers of view were quite high. while i agree price is high on YHOO, this company is a leader and has a very bright future ahead.

Ford-YHOO news apparently didn't go public until Friday. Now Bloomberg has an article saying they are announcing the alliance tonight at a dinner with Jerry Yang. Hopefully the WSJ will have a piece in Monday's edition. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

"Ford, meanwhile, plans a dinner Sunday at which it will
announce an important strategic corporate initiative' for its ConsumerConnect business group, which handles customer services and e-commerce initiatives. Guests at the dinner include Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang. "
