Mr. Lamson has won backing from Sweden's Electrolux AB and Celsius AB for his unlikely gadget, which will retail this spring for $499.

Marty,

I think this is a well priced and useful product. I have never used a SpyGlass browser before, but I think it is pretty good. Combining a TV with Web and CD is a great idea. The fact that he made the keyboard water proof says a lot about how well thought out this product is. The main worry I have is the ISP. Is this going to be like WebTV, requiring proprietary ISP? If not, this product may turn into a smashing hit. Now we just have to teach my mom how to set up the DNS address.
