David,

Don't bother calling e.Digital on the Microsoft reference in the news item. That was lifted from a Bloomberg story and Wendy has already e-mailed a denial, to several investors who inquired, that e.Digital is working with Microsoft. She said that the reporter interpreted e.Digital's ability to handle the Microsoft music compression system as "working" with them.

Of course, e.Digital might be collaborating with Microsoft in some fashion, or in negotiations with them on the use of MicroOS or to supply music players to them, etc., etc. (just idle speculation on my part!) but the "official" position of e.Digital is that the news reporter is in error.

show me the money

Yes? Daily Graphs lists EDIG's total cumulative revenues for the last 4 quarters at about 325k, the last 2 quarters producing ONLY 5K. What's wrong with this picture?

QCOM gets millions of dollars per license, collects a 3-5% royalty tax on the whole sale price of the end product, AND manufactures 90% of the world's CDMA chips. In addition of course, there are standards. And don't forget, QCOM had over 3bil in revenues BEFORE the recent manic run began..
