straight life,

The similarities you draw between running a profit-seeking corporation and running a profit-seeking personal finance program are illuminating. They strike to the core of the issues more than any such comparisons I've ever seen. You might want to think of becoming very organized in your approach to those ideas and ultimately writing a book.

The essence of investing is that we buy a stake in companies. The stock is only the material representation of that stake. It's really the heart of the company that we're interested in, not the stock certificate itself. In that context, your presentations would help a lot of people understand business better my relating how businesses run relative to their own personal lives. Doing that would likely make the readers of your book better investors, better managers of their personal finance program.

Give it some serious thought.
