What do you mean by saying an original thread is gone?

I have no idea at all what you mean - and my curiosity scratches at me.

There is no slant to this post. It is as simple as a small kid coming up to you in a new environment, holding its crotch, and saying "Toy toy?"

The original Coffee Shop thread? Can one still access it?

As for the current way things are going, it feels as though one were watching a parade of PMs in public. PMs are fine for personal conversations, one on one. This is very odd.
