JBb, I did not see the debate, though I have picked up excerpts from posts on a couple of threads. apparently, the argument was heated with Joe siding with the fact that LU is operating in the "sweet spot" of telecommunications growth while HG said that his shorting friends were predicting high 30's. I am not sure about what else was said, though it was in the LU camp from what I have gathered. Cramer put out his own crooked synopsis later, which can likely be found on the CSCO thread. The bottom line is that all LU shareholders have to determine if this is a DEC or CPQ versus an IBM. I personally see this as an IBM. DEC had great engineering but no clue otherwise, CPQ got fat, complacent and squeezed in a margin war. LU has tremendous assets and will turn this around.
