OX,

Like you I usually skim a book at the local B&N or Borders before I buy.

Ken, what would you recommend as the top three books on options

That should be easy since I only have three option books on my book shelf. McMillan OSI, Natenburg, and a book that I bought without skimming first Bittman-Trading Index Options (the title got me). The Bittman book doesn't offer much for an experienced option player but would be a good book for someone new to options because it is written in a very clear and easy to understand style.

I started trading options when they first became listed and there were no books at that time. You learned from experience and picking the minds of those who knew more than you did. I have probably skimmed most of the books written at some time or another but almost never find one that has some strategy that I haven't seen before. I keep McMillan and Natenburg more as reference books then as a source for trading strategies.

Regards,

Ken
