Couldn't agree more and I posted as such a few weeks ago, but Dr J DID NOT say a split was "imminent". There is a difference and I think it is very important to substantiate between the two.

Wasn't attacking anyone personally.

I doubt that Dr. J was trying to get Q below 100. He just anticipated the stock was destined for >400 pre-split based on the earnings report, sale of the handset division, hdr, etc. As Q becomes less volatile I would expect to see splits designed to hold the trading range between 100 and 200.
